07.17.2008 Thursday: TeleCourses Some More

Picture of: My oldest daughter (young adult) playing on the floor with kittens. She volunteers (around 5 years now) at a no-kill shelter every Thursday. Folks, please get your animals spayed or neutered. Really.

Today I: did the last of this week's TeleCourses. Three in a row; set up registrations for future Telecourses; responded to inquiries about future show dates for some libraries; researched a new project for corporate tellers; replied to conversations on a forum about working challenging gigs; ran to the bank and post offices many times over the last few days; weeded out old Emails that were clogging my mail system'; updated my mailing address database; began work on a letter to "lost clients"; created some coaching offers

06.02.2008 Monday: "Greatest Storyteller in History"

Picture of: thank-you letter a 3rd grader wrote at school after one of my performances.

Today I: dropped my kids off at the summer movies; went through my mail and found a package of thank-you letters from a school where I did five shows in a row- I love reading these little notes; went to lunch with my wife; worked with a new corporate storytelling client to get documentations to them about my two-decade plus experience in the field of storytelling; sorted through some new ideas for the next series of free conference calls at Storyteller.net- I will post that on Tuesday; cleaned out my suitcases from previous trips to get ready for next week's trip.

04.13.2008 Sunday: Even on Sunday

03.09.2008 Sunday: Catching Up Some More

Picture of: scan from a thank you note I got from a directory member listed at Storyteller.net. "Hey Sean, I always try to learn how folks learn about me. 1 potential gig is pending already from the 1 month trial premium website. Think if I'd done this earlier." Storyteller.net directory listings work.

Today I: went to the PO Box to clear out mail from the last several days and found this note and the Storytelling magazine with my article that Priscilla sent to me; updated storyteller.net pages, worked on my "getting things done" notebook; had my Monday morning staff meeting on Sunday night; was again reminded that "if you aren't listed on Storyteller.net, you are missing bookings, period."

02.13.2008 Wednesday: Phineas Eats Grammy

Picture of : Phineas Phig the Guinea Pig. Please note that he is playing on the table underneath my invitation to the "50th Anniversary Edition of the Grammy Awards" held last week. I didn't go, I didn't have the right clothes. LOL. Mad props to the Recording Academy folks for nominating real storytellers in the last few years.

Today I: was locked in my office doing storyteller paperwork, spending too much time answering Emails that won't move things forward; stood in line at the post office which I never do any more and talked about the "Storyteller.net at Borders" event with the guy who handles my POBOX mail; didn't have a school gig today as they are all doing conferences; finally escaped last night with my wife to go eat a salad before I lost my marbles sitting in front of this darn computer; came home to find Phineas wandering about the table with my Grammy invites. He said they were delicious.
