04.09.2008 Wednesday: Agreement of Sponsors

Picture of: several of my GTD files all freshly labeled.

Today I: spoke with a programmer for new, small video project I am thinking about; spoke with a future sponsor; spoke with another future sponsor; sent Storytellingproducts.com packages; created and delivered "letter of agreement" for sponsor- LOA is like a contract but less verbiage and more user-friendly; took a phone order (rare) for the store; made post office run; spoke with a past storytelling sponsor about the location of the check they owe from weeks ago; no school show today as the school is doing some type of standardized tortur...err testing of students;

04.01.2008 Tuesday: Moving On

Picture of: my friend Gina who is very excited about the cookie she is going to eat.

Today I: returned the rental car I had to use this weekend; worked on a new mailing to western states; met for lunch with Gina- a young woman who was in one of my youth groups many many years ago and is now moving on to exciting new out of state adventures with her husband (best of luck Gina- this is exciting); reviewed Emails from a corporate storytelling sponsor and ran them through my "interpret, express, integrate" process to create a basic proposal idea for them; went to the bank and the post office; took daughter #1 to work and back again; found my GTD notebook and began a fresh new mind sweep; created new voiceover scripts for David Ian Davies to record for the upcoming podcast beds- David does BRILLIANT audiobooks of Sherlock Holmes stories; spoke on the phone with the sponsor for Wednesday's school shows; didn't send out expiration notices to Storyteller.net members as I was afraid they'd take it as an April Fools jokes; reviewed all of my 2008pics.com postings and realized I have so far met my goal of # of postings- yay me.

03.30.2008 Sunday: The Past is Prologue

Picture of: the inside of "The Fountains: A United Methodist Church" celebrating their 20th anniversary, where I was one of the guest speakers.

Today I: made that long drive from my house in Avondale to Fountain Hills, AZ; presented a couple of stories for their service today- once upon a time, more than a dozen years ago, I was the storyteller part of a regular, weekly, creative, artsy, cutting-edge gathering there; came home and took a nap after all the previous night's partying prep and today's events; worked on some storytellingproducts.com orders; can't find my GTD book; had an evening staff meeting and dinner; prepped for my meeting tomorrow with Liz and Liz; put some more energy into the CD recording workshop.

03.17.2008 Monday

Picture of: a cupcake with green sprinkles and serving of my potato soup.

Today I: "got things done"; worked on the St Pat's day podcast and somehow ended up with a bug that wouldn't let me post it- sigh- it will be up on Tuesday; otherwise laid low today and made Irish dinner for my family, feeding them potato soup, fancy cupcakes and Culcannon, which daughter #3 refers to as (say it like a leprechaun) "fiddlelee dee potatoes"; passed out green cupcakes to various family members; tried to figure out what I am supposed to be doing for the school class I am taking. Sigh, I really don't need to learn how to appreciate classic literature...again.
